Controller

Summary: Our client is specializes in renting/leasing customized movable buildings. They are currently looking for a Controller to take charge, and become a part of their company.  This person will plan, control and organize the accounting and finance functions of the company; and will report directly to the company’s owner.


Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
2. Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
3. Oversee the accounting operations of any subsidiary corporations
4. Coordinate the preparation of the month-end report
5. Coordinate the preparation of the year-end report
6. Provide for a system of management cost reports
7. Ensure that AP are paid in a timely manner
8. Ensure that AR are collected promptly
9. Ensure that bank reconciliations are completed
10. Maintain a system on internal controls over accounting transactions
11. Create timely and accurate financial statements
12. Develop 13 week cash-flow report

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred)
2. Job costing experience (preferred)
3. Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in manufacturing industry
4. Strong MS Office skills
5. Peachtree Accounting Software experience (preferred)

 
Location: Las Vegas (Metro-Area)
Temp Rate: $25.00 per hour
Term: 40 hours per week (May turn into a full-time opportunity)
Full-Time Base Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00
